For those with short attention spans, this script is a tad longer than my previous scripts. Not by much, mind you – but the few additional pages may lead to drowsiness. Or – because it is a horror script – it may lead to a heart attack. One or the other. You’ve been warned.
Logline: Martin discovers a new definition of “haunting”. In his dreams, he is haunted by a ghostly figure, an older man who looks, alarmingly, like Martin himself. However, at work, it becomes clearer that this “haunting” may be seeping, from the dream-world, into the real and mundane. By the end, he finds out exactly what it is that the old man wants, and perhaps, he even finds common ground with the old man’s reasons for a possession.
Enjoy!

Cameron Reilly is a southern California native, who received his Associate's Degree from Moorpark College in the field of Philosophy, during which he learned the art of debate and persuasion.
Originally interested in utilizing his abilities to persuade for marketing purposes, Cameron decided to follow his lifelong passion of storytelling and creative writing. The unique twist that Cameron offers for his articles on narrative structure, or the stories he constructs, or the screenplays he architects is a concentrated focus on research in the fields of psychology, philosophy and literary theory. This leads to innovative stories led by characters with mythical qualities. And the plots in which they interact could just as easily have played out inside the reader's head, as if the characters were representative of Freudian psychic elements, Jungian archetypes, or Blakean gods.
For those authors who would like to learn more about the creative process of writing, Cameron researches the philosophical, psychological, and theoretical elements of narrative design. Find him on Twitter or Instagram at @ercwriting, or follow this blog for weekly articles, stories, and scripts.
